Healthy School Meals

The school meals are provided by the School Food Support Service (SFSS) and are cooked fresh daily on site. The SFSS was set up to ensure school children in Leicestershire have access to a nutritionally balanced diet, to promote healthy development and growth.

The School Food Support Service offers a variety of meal choices on a tri-weekly cycle and in keeping with our healthy schools policy.  We have menus in the office should you require a copy or you can view or download a copy using the link below.

Special Menus

From time to time the School Food Support Service will offer special menus, these are often topical and seasonal e.g. Easter Menu.

Booking a Dinner

School dinners do not have to be booked in advance unless the school meal is a ‘Special Dinner’ where prior notice will be given to parents.

If your child is in Foundation, Year 1 or Year 2 they are entitled to free school meals as part of the national Universal Free Infant School Meals Scheme.

Children will be asked at registration daily whether they require a school dinner or whether they have a lunch box.

Years 3,4,5 and 6 can also decide on the morning whether they require a dinner each day.  All payments are to be made by Parentpay or payment card.

The cost of a School dinner is £2.20

Please contact the office if you require any additional information.
