The afternoons this half term have involved many booster groups and work for SATs, but we still found time to finish learning about the Romans and about the Stone Age to the Iron Age! Using 400 pieces of toilet roll, we learnt about how long the Earth has been here for. Did you know that in this line of toilet paper, only the last 0.5cm on the last square shows how long humans have been on Earth for? It blew our minds!
We then learnt about evolution and in heritance, considering how families look similar to each other. Using templates, we made our own Stone Age weapons which we used to make freeze frames. What do you think? We then finished the theme by painting our own cave paintings.
What a busy half term it has been!
